A family owned and operated private company...

Coastal Turf is a family owned and operated business that has been in operation for the past 13 years in the turf industry. We are local to the Tweed Coast, with our property located at 279 Round Mountain Road Round Mountain, just behind Cabarita Beach. We have over 40 acres of turf under production and produce 8 different varieties.

As a volunteer member of the national turf industry body the Turf Producers Association (TPA) and a volunteer board member of the Queensland Turf Producers Association (QTPA) we take pride in producing a quality product and investing in the future of the turf industry.

Coastal Turf has four highly qualified employees with over 30 years combined experience;

  Bachelor of Applied Science with Honours Class I in Agronomy (University of Queensland)
• John Commens
  Diploma in Agriculture (Hawkesbury Agricultural College)
• John McDonald
  Level III Certificate in Horticulture (NSW TAFE)
• Tony Mason
  Level III Certificate in Horticulture (NSW TAFE)
